Job Description

Machine Operator for manufacturing/production facility - Will be cross trained on operating the following: rewinder, roller and press machine

Duties include setting up machines, performing change outs, and replacing parts/plates etc. T Responsibilities also encompass checking machines and conducting small repairs, changing out rolls, and diagnosing any mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

Operate rewinder, roller and press machines efficiently.

Set up machines and perform necessary change outs.

Perform quick changeovers on machines

Replacing dies on press machine and changing out rolls for rewinder

Check machines regularly and conduct small repairs if applicable

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in machine operation.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure.

Hight attention to detail

Ability to work from a work order

Ability to lift 40+lbs

Experience machine operator that had to perform set-ups and changeovers to the machine (hands on work, not just button pushing)

Troubleshooting

Schedule: 2nd shift -10-hour shifts

Monday - Thursday 3pm -1am

Potential for overtime hours on Fridays

Work Environment:

Non-climate controlled production floor

Steel-toed boots required

Will get dirty

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
