2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic!
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and troubleshooting the customer's new high-speed packaging lines. These state-of-the-art lines are capable of processing 300 bottles per minute, significantly advancing from the previous capability of 100 bottles per minute. The position involves 85% reactive and 15% proactive maintenance within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment, requiring compliance with specific gowning procedures in designated areas.
Responsibilities
Perform reactive and proactive maintenance on high-speed packaging lines.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Conduct conveyor maintenance including bearings, belts, drives, and motors.
Utilize blueprints and schematics for maintenance tasks.
Engage in PLC troubleshooting and pneumatics maintenance.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Experience with blueprint reading and conveyor maintenance.
Knowledge of motors, bearings, belts, and drives.
Familiarity with pneumatic systems and PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
Experience in distribution environments is transferable.

Work Environment
Work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting that is clean and climate-controlled, adhering to GMP standards. Collaborate with a team of 13 technicians across shifts, working under a direct supervisor. The position is for the 2nd Shift, Tuesday to Saturday, with working hours from 2:30 PM - 11 PM or 3:30 PM - 12 AM.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr.
