Description Summary: The Retail Network Planning & Execution Director is a key leadership position on the Physical Channels & Innovation team within the Consumer & Regional Banking business unit.

As Huntington executes our Retail Banking Long-range Plan and positions the company for growth through market and geographic expansion, we must ensure that our physical channels (branches and ATMs) meet the evolving needs of our customers, colleagues and communities.

This leader is accountable for strategic planning and project execution to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of Huntington's physical distribution network.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Coordinates with other CRB segment leaders and Regional leaders to establish market strategies, project priorities, program scopes, budgets and schedules.

* Lead the team of Market Strategists accountable for developing Physical Channel Market Plans for each Region in partnership with the Regional Leadership teams.

* Execute strategic programs related to Physical Channel Distribution, including DeNovo market expansion, network repositioning, retail branch consolidation, ATM deployment, etc.

* Perform financial analysis in partnership with the Physical Channel Distribution Strategy team and gain business case approval for all Distribution actions.

* Partner with the Corporate Real Estate team on specific site selection and transaction terms.

* Partner with Marketing and Corporate Design & Construction on branch standards and site details.

* Work closely with the Physical Channel Innovation team and incorporate new capabilities into the retail branch designs.

* Coordinate all activities related to branch/ATM project completion with multiple internal and external teams and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

* Work closely with the local RLT and OCR partners to ensure that financial projections for branch projects are met/exceeded (aka execute the New Build Playbook). * Conduct Community Launches for every new build and tailor the plan to the local community.

* Create CEO and Board-level executive communications articulating the Physical Channels Distribution plans and execution status.

* Perform M&A field work assessing a target FI's Distribution network.

Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics or equivalent * 10+ years of related experience leading cross-functional teams that are accountable for large-scale strategic programs, implementing strategic initiatives and delivering performance results Preferred Qualifications: * MBA preferred with experience in Banking or Financial Services * Ability to think strategically * Strong analytical skills and business acumen * Make fact-based assumptions that drive cost/benefit analysis * Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to synthesize data and succinctly tell a story to multiple layers of peers and leadership * Ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines and high attention to detail * Highly motivated with strong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities * Willingness and drive to learn and understand new information * High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships * Ability to initiate and facilitate change, whether indicated by corporate needs, market or regulatory requirements * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay) Yes Workplace Type: Office Our Approach to Office Workplace Type Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
