We are looking for someone to join our 2nd shift team: Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM-1:00 AM
Tower Laboratories is a leading effervescent product manufacturer in the U.S. We develop and manufacture over-the-counter medications, prescription pharmaceuticals, nutritional supplements, soft drink tablets and other consumer products on a contract basis. We are continually expanding our effervescent product base and currently have several new and interesting products in the research and development phase right now. We are a family owned company and have been in business for over 40 years.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform physical and administrative tasks associated with the weighing and blending of bulk product. Operate blenders, mixers, sizing equipment, ovens and scales. Make observations and record activity to complete Master Manufacturing Records (MMR's). Set-up and clean equipment and rooms before and after usage.
Perform all work in adherence to safety precautions, regulations and Good Manufacturing practices (cGMP) as required by the FDA.
Tower Labs' production environment is clean and temperature and humidity controlled. Uniforms provided free of charge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load and unload ingredients/product into and out of ovens, blenders or drums in accordance with MMR's.
Weigh ingredients on scales; record observations
Adjust inventory levels using both paper and computer systems
Strictly follow procedures as detailed in MMRs and complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely. Paperwork includes, but is not limited to, MMR's and equipment usage logs.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, drums/containers, rooms and facility to ensure sanitary working conditions in accordance with cGMPs.
Take ownership and be accountable for the quality of all work produced.
Transport bulk powders and packaging materials between warehouse and production areas.
Perform all work in accordance with established Safety, cGMP and company procedures.
Work as a team member; be cooperative with all departments and staff to meet company objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
