Dishwasher/Utility Worker

Reports to Executive and Sous Chef / Non-Exempt hourly.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

• Rinse and send through the dish machine or wash and sanitize in three compartment sinks. Pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils etc.

• Clock in and out in uniform ready to work.

• Sort check for cleanliness and stack clean dishes. Place clean dishes in proper areas.

• Change dishwater every two hours.

• Make sure dish chemicals are full and running properly.

• Remove trash and garbage to the dumpster.

• Fill and empty soak tubs with water. Run items constantly.

• Assemble and disassemble the dish machine.

• Sweep and mop floors. Maintain safe floors, by sweeping and mopping any spills.

• Sweep up rubbish around dumpster area and parking lot.

• Do other cleaning projects that are asked of you, by the chef, sous chef, service managers, or line cooks.

• Tell someone if you must leave the kitchen.
