Provide specialized speech-language pathology services within a school setting in Savannah, TN on a contract basis. This role involves evaluating, treating, and supporting children with speech and language disorders, contributing to their academic success and communication skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language challenges.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Implement therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication goals.
Thoroughly document student progress and update treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate effectively with educators, counselors, and other professionals to foster an integrated care approach.
Involve and educate families to enhance therapy outcomes and support at home.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in speech-language pathology.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
