Salary Range: $160k-$170k/Annum + Benefits

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with strong expertise in Microservices architecture and AWS cloud platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance enterprise applications and driving technical strategy across projects. Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java-based technologies

Lead the development and implementation of Microservices architecture

Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, and engineering

Drive cloud-native application development using AWS services

Perform system design, code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide optimal solutions

Mentor and guide development teams on architecture and design patterns Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong experience in Java (Java 8 or above) and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)

Proven expertise in Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, etc.)

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)

Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools like Jenkins, Git

Knowledge of database technologies (SQL & NoSQL)

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka/RabbitMQ)

Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation)

Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

AWS certifications (preferred) Experience:

10+ years of overall IT experience

3+ years in an architectural role
