Documentation Improvement Specialist - Queens - Part Time (3 days a week, M-F)

Clinical Documentation experience is strongly preferred.

Key Criteria

Ideal candidates will have previous experience as a Documentation Improvement Specialist in a hospital setting and have previous experience with 3M Encoder Systems. Prior experience with training clinical staff and peers is strongly preferred. Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree. Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Physician Assistant or trained Physician background or training required. Experience working in an Electronic Medical Record environment is required. Five years of recent hospital experience and/or verifiable Documentation Improvement experience is required.
