Machine Operator – Grave Shift (Extruder Operator)

Fife, WA

Starting Pay: $22–$25/hr + $2/hr Shift Differential

Schedule: 2–2–3 Rotating

Hours: 6 PM – 6 AM

As an Extruder Operator in our Vinyl Extrusion division, you’ll be at the heart of the process—ensuring top tier product quality, equipment performance, and a safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play an essential role in operating and maintaining extrusion equipment by:

️ Operating 1–3 PVC extrusion lines to meet production and quality standards

️ Safely disassembling, cleaning, rebuilding, and changing over extrusion tooling using overhead cranes

Performing visual inspections and taking precise measurements with calipers

Keeping your work area clean and organized—spray down equipment, sweep floors, remove debris

Completing productivity reports, machine condition updates, bundle tickets, and work orders

Assisting with packaging and forklift operations as needed

What You Bring

Associate degree/technical school certificate or 6–12 months of related experience

Valid forklift certification

️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedures

Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, percentages, bar graphs)

Strong problem solving skills and comfort following detailed instructions

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multitasking environment
