Home on Weekends $90,000–$95,000 First Year Direct Hire

Location: Columbus, OH (Regional Routes)

Job Summary

We are actively recruiting Regional CDL-A Delivery Drivers on behalf of a longstanding national distribution client based in Columbus, OH. This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong, reliable earnings, consistent regional routes, and dependable weekend home time.

This is not a drop-and-hook position. Drivers load at origin and unload directly into customer locations using hand trucks or dollies. What You’ll Do:

Perform pre trip and post trip inspections and complete DOT reports

Safely operate a tractor-trailer on regional routes and at customer sites

Load and unload product using hand trucks or dollies (touch freight)

Deliver product directly into customer locations and verify delivery accuracy

Inspect bills of lading, store access keys, and delivery documentation

Maintain ELD or manual driver logs in compliance with DOT regulations

Accurately document delivery receipts, temperatures, and exceptions

Ensure product integrity, including temperature sensitive items

Communicate professionally with store managers and customer staff

Represent a well-run operation with professionalism at all delivery locations

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL

Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer experience

Ability to meet MVR, background, drug screen, and safety standards

Physically capable of performing touch freight delivery

Comfortable working overnight routes and extended shifts

Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety and compliance

Reliable, adaptable, and professional mindset

Preferred (Not Required)

Touch freight, foodservice, beverage, or route delivery experience

Experience with ELD systems (People Net preferred)

What You’ll Earn

$90,000 – $95,000 in your first year

Top drivers earn $100,000+ annually

Paid for what you do — a combination of: Hourly Pay, Miles, Stops, Cases

Routes & Schedule

Regional routes averaging 3 runs per week

Coverage includes:

Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virgina, Pennsylvania

18–24-hour shifts

2 person driving teams

Early evening dispatch with overnight deliveries

Home every weekend
