Salary Range: $57,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop CNC programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for multi-axis milling machines.
Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding methods for various materials and part geometries.
Simulate and verify CNC programs to detect potential collisions, optimize tool paths, and ensure machining efficiency.
Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, and specifications to determine optimal machining strategies and processes.
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot machining issues, optimize cycle times, and improve part quality.
Create and maintain comprehensive setup sheets, tooling lists, and program documentation.
Perform post-processing of CAM programs to generate machine-specific G-code and ensure proper machine control.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency with industry-standard CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
Expertise in G-code and M-code programming for CNC milling machines.
Strong ability to interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications.
Comprehensive understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and material properties.
Experience with multi-axis (3, 4, 5-axis) CNC milling programming.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and quality.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with 5-axis machining or multi-axis turning.
Proficiency with G-code verification and machine simulation software (e.g., Vericut).
Experience in designing custom workholding and fixtures.
Ability to develop or customize post-processors for CAM software.
