Summary:
Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming with special events. Jorgensen Catering Servers are responsible for providing exceptional service to all Jorgensen guests.
Responsibilities:
Preparing and setting dishes, silverware, and glassware for service
Setting up food displays and buffets
Serving, busing, and managing food service needs for Jorgensen Farms Catering Services
Working with other catering staff members and the culinary team to unload the catering van, clean all assigned food service equipment and areas, and reload the catering van after an event
Confidently working to meet guest needs and expectations and speak knowledgeably about Jorgensen Farms services when needed
Whatever it takes to create a comfortable, welcoming, and supportive environment for all staff and guests
Requirements
Qualifications:
Have a passion for weddings, events, catering, and the hospitality industry
Have a guest-centric mentality
Be able to analyze and solve problems while multitasking
Be able to work on their feet for the entirety of their shift
Be able to consistently carry trays of food, weighing up to 20 lbs
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Have the ability to relate to a diverse set of team members, clients, and guests
Be willing to work a variety of shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays
Possess strong organization and time management skills
Have prior experience in the food industry, catering experience is strongly preferred
Have the willingness to do "whatever it takes" to get the job done

$19/hour
