Bring Technical Content to Life: Freelance Graphic Design Consultant Wanted JRC is actively seeking an experienced Freelance Graphic Design Consultant to support a range of design needs, including slick sheets, capability briefs, logos, and print ready marketing materials.

This role is ideal for a designer who thrives in a technical environment and can bring a modern, clean aesthetic to engineering heavy content.

What You'll Do * Develop visually polished slick sheets, one pagers, and capability briefs for internal and external audiences * Create or refine logos, iconography, and brand elements aligned with JRC's identity * Design print ready materials for proposals, events, and customer engagements * Translate complex technical concepts into clear, intuitive visual layouts * Maintain consistency across all materials while elevating the overall design standard * Collaborate with JRC's communications and technical teams to iterate quickly and effectively What You Bring * Proven experience as a freelance or consulting graphic designer * Strong portfolio demonstrating clean, modern, technology oriented design * Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent tools * Ability to work with technical subject matter and simplify complex information visually * Experience designing for print, including knowledge of bleed, color profiles, and production requirements * Strong communication skills and comfort working with multiple stakeholders * Ability to turn around high quality work on tight timelines Bonus Points * Experience supporting government, defense, engineering, or technology organizations * Familiarity with branding for professional services or technical consulting firms Engagement Details * Freelance/contract, project based with ongoing needs * Remote work with occasional virtual meetings * Competitive hourly or project based compensation depending on experience At JRC we offer...
