Work with the Head Chef for the development of menu Responsible for the cutting preparation of ingredients, garnishing and food presentation Ensure uniform serving sizes and appearance Manage carving station and ensure Carving skills is up to date Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food display Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen helpers and other food preparation workers Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality Assist the Head Chef in maintaining inventory of food and supplies needed to ensure efficient operations Monitor sanitation practices and ensure that kitchen safety standards are followed Responsible for the costing of food based on ingredients used

At least 3 years' experience as chef / carver in a Chinese restaurant Advance knife skills is a requirement Creative in the food preparation Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage
