Operations Manager
Location: Onsite – Columbus, Ohio
Salary: $130,000–$150,000
Overview:
An established construction industry organization is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee scheduling, resource allocation, equipment management, and overall operational efficiency across multiple active projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for labor and equipment.
Monitor schedule adherence and adjust resources as priorities shift.
Oversee equipment fleet, tool inventory, mechanic shop operations, and preventative maintenance.
Maintain material inventory and coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments.
Track non project labor productivity and support yard organization and project prep.
Ensure accurate timecard completion and serve as the point of contact for related issues.
Conduct inventory counts, approve foreman expenses, and participate in employee evaluations.
Enforce company safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Supervisory experience required.
5+ years of construction or related industry experience required.
Proven experience scheduling labor and equipment.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic understanding of construction operations.
Ability to work onsite and in varying environmental conditions.
