Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Sheet Metal Fabricator / Machine Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for fabricating architectural sheet metal components and operating shop equipment used in standing seam metal roofing production. The ideal candidate has experience with sheet metal fabrication machinery, understands measurements and layout, and takes pride in producing high-quality metal products.

Key Responsibilities

Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including the Cidan FX32 Folding Machine and Cidan RAPIDO 32 Shear

Operate and assist with production using a New Tech Machinery SSR MPJ Standing Seam Roll Former

Fabricate architectural sheet metal components such as panels, trim, flashing, coping, and custom parts

Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and fabrication details

Measure, cut, and form sheet metal materials to precise specifications

Maintain production quality and accuracy

Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Organize materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Assist with loading, packaging, and staging completed materials for delivery or job sites

Qualifications

Experience in sheet metal fabrication, metal roofing, or metal shop operations

Ability to operate metal fabrication equipment (folders, shears, roll formers)

Ability to read tape measures and basic shop drawings

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment

Forklift experience is a plus

Standing seam metal roofing fabrication experience is a plus
