Description

Web SW Developer:

ATEC is looking for an experienced Web SW Developer to work with our Software Team to support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) applications development.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS:

Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software using the back-end and front-end technologies listed above.

End-user functionality support/field support.

Attend system design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and any other meetings as requested to support program and team.

Work in an agile team environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:

Required:

Excellent knowledge/experience in:

Web Development (PHP, jQuery, CSS/HTML).

JavaScript

AJAX and Web Services.

Database development background (Oracle/SQL) in an Oracle replicated environment.

Agile methodologies.

Ability to:

Work independently, as well as a team.

Research and problem solve.

Communicate effectively through verbal and written communication. Preferred:

Knowledge/experience in:

Sencha Ext JS Framework

C#

ASP.Net

Python

Web server-side knowledge (Apache/IIS)

Full stack web development

Model-view-controller architecture

Cross-browser development EDUCATION/YEARS of EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and nine (9) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US

Has been living in the US for at least the past 3 years WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Located at the William J. Hughes Technical Center.

Full-time position with a standard flexible work schedule; occasional nights or weekends may be required.

Occasional travel (< 10%).
