About the Role

The Cashier is responsible for managing the checkout process, assisting customers with purchases, and supporting the store team with basic operational tasks. You’ll work directly with customers throughout the day, providing friendly service while ensuring transactions are processed accurately.What You’ll Be Doing

Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions accurately

Accepting payments including cash, credit, and debit cards

Greeting customers and answering basic questions about products or store services

Issuing receipts, refunds, or exchanges according to store policies

Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area

Assisting with restocking merchandise near the checkout area when needed

Working with team members to ensure the store runs efficiently during busy periodsWhat We’re Looking For

Strong communication and customer service skills

Basic math skills and attention to detail when handling transactions

The ability to remain calm and professional during busy times
