Kitchen Tune-Up /The Handyman is growing at an exciting pace! We are seeking dedicated team members to join our team and complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking career minded remodelers or construction professionals who are willing to learn new techniques and are looking for a stable, well-paying career.

This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power hand tools is helpful. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet redooring, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other handyman skills. We service North and South Pittsburgh.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, drywall repairs, and basic carpentry work.

Address plumbing and electrical issues promptly and efficiently.

Follow Trustpoints on every project and job site

Follow instructions given by project manager

Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily

Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects.

Communicate with project manager daily about progress

Work quickly and efficiently

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Handyman/Carpenter or similar role.

Able to drill for hinges

Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions

Able to install doors and drawer fronts

Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets

Ability to safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun

Must be able to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level

Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time

Must have reliable transportation

Experience with hand tools

Neat appearance

Having own tools desired but not required
