CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

Staff Up is hiring CNC Operators in Cedar Hill, TX

Shift: Mon–Fri 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM ( LOTS OF OVERTIME)

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00/hr. (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Program, Set Up & Operate: Manage CNC vertical/horizontal mills and manual CNC lathes.

Custom Fabrication: Set up work holding fixtures, tooling, and machine parameters for unique, non-repetitive jobs.

Technical Reading: Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to select appropriate speeds, feeds, and tooling.

Quality Control: Maintain tight tolerances and surface finishes; perform first-piece inspections using calipers and micrometers.

Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues and optimize programs for efficiency; debur and finish components as needed.

Collaboration: Work directly with engineers and designers to meet specific project goals.

Requirements:

High proficiency in CNC programming (essential for custom workflows).

Must pass written aptitude test

Must Background check and Drug screen requirements
