Job Description:

76 Fence of Columbus Ohio Area is starting up in full growth mode. We are seeking a driven and results oriented General Manager/Sales Professional to lead and grow our fencing contractor business. This

dual-role position combines strategic leadership with hands-on sales responsibilities, requiring a well rounded professional who can effectively manage operations, drive revenue, and foster client

relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven sales track record, and

experience in the construction or contracting industry.

Management Responsibilities

● Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

● Develop and execute business strategies to achieve company goals and drive growth.

● Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost-effectiveness in all

operations.

Recruit, train, and supervise employees, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team.

● Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure

project success.

● Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulations.

Sales Responsibilities

● Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including residential, commercial, and

industrial fencing projects.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide

tailored solutions.

● Prepare and present accurate project estimates, proposals, and contracts.

● Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure timely follow-up to secure repeat business.

● Monitor market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

● Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales strategies and promotional campaigns.

Skills and Qualifications

● Proven experience in a General Manager, Sales, or similar role within the construction or

contracting industry.

● Strong understanding of fencing products, materials, and installation processes (preferred).

● Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships.

● Proficiency in project management and sales software tools.

● Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

● Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

● Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites, client meetings and out of state initial

training.

Preferred Qualifications

● Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.

● Experience in the fencing industry is helpful.

● Technology savvy, comfortable using cloud based / SaaS systems and tools.

● Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking.
