Job Summary Oversees the environment of care at all of the Naples sites ensuring that facilities and grounds are functionally efficient, clean, safe and attractive.

Performs routine duties with minimal supervision.

Prepares required documentation, records, and reports.

Performs associated duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Standards Moves furniture, equipment and supplies as assigned.

Moves furniture and pre-packed boxes in office reorganization.

Assists in the setup of new offices, furniture and equipment.

Assists in the setup/breakdown of conference room for classes and special events.

Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the safe, efficient and attractive operation of the environment of care.

Assists with painting, patching plaster or stucco, dusting, heavy trash removal, minor fire control, spill cleanup and other minor repairs.

Conducts (and assists other safety committee members and managers in the conduct of) safety assessments and inspections, acts independently to resolve safety problems as they occur or notifies appropriate staff.

Maintains current knowledge of OSHA, the HCN Safety Plan, and related policies and procedures.

Maintains and demonstrates extensive knowledge in the management of facilities, fire safety (including familiarity with relevant Life Safety Codes); firefighting procedures and fire management; fire prevention and alarm systems testing and maintenance; and reporting and documentation procedures.

Understands and demonstrates understanding of the management of hazardous materials to the level of being able to direct management of hazardous material spills.

Maintains current knowledge of OSHA standards and the HCN Hazardous materials Management Plan.

Maintains knowledge of the Naples sites utilities systems to the extent of being able to direct the work of contractors, or staff employees in the repair or replacement of those systems or their components.

Utilities systems include: heating and air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, and telephone and communication networks.

Schedules repairs with outside contractors pertaining to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical Will assist all sites with quarterly fire drills and will perform quarterly fire drills with sites that have a fire alarm system.

Will also cycle the fire back flow pump weekly at sites that have a sprinkler system.

Will also check the weekly auto run of the emergency generators we currently have.

May also assist with security alarm calls when needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications Efforts are generally responsive to work flow, must be able to work independently and prioritize work on a daily or weekly basis, subject to occasional reprioritization by others Impact of work performance could result in a noticeable impact in the organization and may involve management attention.

May be required to perform the duties of other employees, including supervisors/managers, in their absence.

May be required to perform duties and responsibilities not listed in this description, on a temporary or long-term basis.

Experience Education/Training Level: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens (including biohazardous waste handling and spill cleanup) Licenses and Certifications: Florida Drivers License Communication Skills: Must effectively communicate with co-workers, patients and visitors.

Must be able to read and write English language well enough to complete paperwork required for the position, as well as read and follow instructions/labels on supplies, tools and equipment Bilingual Skills Preferred Technology Skills: None required
