A rewarding full-time opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in a K-12 district located in Huron, CA. This contract position spans from ASAP through the End of School Year (EOSY), providing meaningful work within a dynamic school setting.
Key qualifications and certifications for this role include:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist license
Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred
Eligibility for Certification of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) considered
Experience in school-based speech therapy services
Responsibilities include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among K-12 students
Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
Providing direct therapy services that promote effective communication skills
Monitoring progress and documenting outcomes throughout the school year
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
