A travel opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in Marks, MS. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM and focuses on providing specialized support to students with disabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and implementing individualized accommodations and modifications for students with disabilities
Writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and conducting IEP meetings with students, parents, and staff
Participating in biweekly Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to collaborate on strategies and student progress
Attending five to six professional development sessions throughout the school year to stay current with best practices and regulations
Desired qualifications and experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification
Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs and disabilities
Strong knowledge of IEP development and special education laws
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and administrators
Excellent communication and organizational skills
