Geisel Library at Saint Anselm College, a private, liberal arts college in the Benedictine tradition, seeks a part-time Periodicals Supervisor to join their team. This is a fall and spring semester (16 weeks each term) position, working Thursday's 5:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. and Saturday's 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Candidates must complete the online application, and provide a cover letter, resume, and three references to be considered for the position.
Job Duties
The Periodicals Supervisor is responsible for managing all Periodical Desk operations during assigned hours and performs a variety of duties that include: checking out library materials using an automated library circulation and security system, supervising student assistants, aiding patrons with photocopying, scanning, and printing, maintenance of the library collection such as shelving materials and shelf reading, assisting with Interlibrary Loan request processing, assisting with the security of users and collections, opening/closing the library, and other projects as assigned. Additional evening and weekend hours may be possible throughout the academic year. Periodicals Supervisors are also cross-trained to provide supervision of Circulation Desk operations.

Required Experience
An Associate degree plus 1-2 years of relevant experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory experience
Experience working with library computer systems, such as Sierra, LibGuides, and Illiad.
