Role Overview

We are seeking a Test Automation Developer (TAD) with strong expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Ruby or Cypress, strong knowledge of SQL and RESTful services, and proven skills in modern CI/CD pipelines. The role requires excellent debugging, communication, and collaboration skills in an Agile environment.

Key Skills & Expertise

Automation & Scripting

Expertise in Ruby OR Cypress automation frameworks.

Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS for UI and web-based testing. API & Backend Testing

Strong experience testing RESTful Services / API platforms.

Knowledge of Java REST web services is a plus. Database & Performance

Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Hands-on experience with Performance Testing (JMeter). CI/CD & DevOps Tools

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Concourse, Jenkins, Harness.

Source code management with Git. Monitoring & Reporting

Familiarity with test reporting tools.

Strong knowledge of application and log monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk. Agile & Debugging Skills

Strong exposure to Agile practices and ceremonies.

Excellent debugging and communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automation test scripts using Ruby or Cypress.

Perform API and backend testing with RESTful services and SQL validation.

Conduct performance testing using JMeter to ensure system stability and scalability.

Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Concourse, Jenkins, Harness).

Generate test reports and track issues for timely resolution.

Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams in an Agile setup.

Monitor applications and logs using New Relic, Splunk, ensuring proactive issue identification. Mandatory Skills
