As an experienced CNC Operator & Programmer 10+ years of hands-on expertise, you’ll work independently while collaborating closely with our engineering team and junior machinists. Your skills in crafting and repairing aircraft components would be highly valued as an expert machinist.

Repairtech International, Inc, an FAA state of the art repair station providing expertise to clients around the world utilizing our expertise in repair design development for mechanical repairs to aircraft parts for commercial and military aviation industries. We are low production however attention to detail and the ability to cross train is definitely a requirement.

Job Responsibilities:
Read blue prints and routers per engineer specs.
Use micrometers, calipers to measure different devices.
Operate, set up and program the Mori Seiki SL-25 and Hitachi Seiki for CNC Lathe
Operate, set up and program Haas, Matsuura and Acroloc for CNC Milling.
Distinguish various materials (aluminum, steels, alloys, etc.).
Distinguish various tooling (drills, endmills, carbide inserts, etc.).
Keep track of oil and coolant levels and change when necessary.
Collaborate with the Engineer department in order to execute and finalize process.
For the more seasoned CNC Operator Programmer, train level 1 & 2 employees to Repairtech standards.
Flexible, eager to learn and willing to be crossed trained.
Requirements:
Highly proficient operating and programming CNC lathes and manual mills, manual machining a plus.
Holding tight tolerances .0005).
Skilled with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
AutoCAD software knowledge, use of calculators and basic algebra.
MUST effectively communicate in English; written, reading, and verbal skills, FAA requirement.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma and/or GED.
Exposed to manufacturing/machine shop environments with at least 10 years plus machinist experience.
Equipment Used:
Precision measuring instruments, CMM, hydraulic and/or mechanical manufacturing equipment, various types of grinders, sanders, mills, lathes, hand air tools, misc measuring equipment, personal safety devices.
