Coneco Engineers & Scientists is actively seeking a licensed land surveyor needed to manage department and to replace long-time manager in Bridgewater, MA that is retiring. We are a consulting firm that focuses on environmental management, civil engineering, ecological permitting, and land surveying. Coneco was established in 1992 and maintains 62 people in three offices. Our Surveying division maintains contracts with diverse and established local and national companies and municipalities. We provide a wide range of services primarily in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with projects ranging into the greater New England Area. In this position, you will serve a key role in the management of our survey division. Responsibilities

We are looking for a senior licensed land surveyor department manager with 10+ years of land surveying experience who is eager to oversee an array of projects and lead upcoming surveyors. This position will include site field investigations, records research, analysis, and management with direct interaction with clients and other design and construction professionals. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects involving residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial land development and entrusted with responsible charge for the review and quality assurance of project submissions. This position collaborates closely with the entire company to manage and inspire team members to their fullest potential.

Manage all aspects of survey projects including property line research and analysis, estimates and contracts, ALTA, existing conditions, condominium, construction layout, GPS, and Land Court surveys.

Manager to oversee office and field staff and work closely with engineering and environmental departments.

Be knowledgeable of local and state land use processes and regulations

Participation in local professional organizations is encouraged

Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments

Responsibilities include monthly billing review, approval/ disapproval of vendor invoices, budget, schedule, resource and job cost monitoring

Work in conjunction with other Project Managers and staff to assist with unique project related issues

Oversee and direct production by working with the administrative and drafting staff

Position requires work Monday through Friday

Flexibility to perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

Professional Land Surveyor license required

5 plus years of management experience and Massachusetts PLS license. Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation to job sites
