Construction Cost Estimator

Job Description

$80,000Responsibilities:

Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors

Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers

Inspect the construction site to collect necessary client requirement information

Revisit previously submitted proposal and budgets with clients

Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projectsQualifications:

Comprehension of research methodology, accounting, data and risk analysis, and estimation metrics is crucial

A Bachelors’ degree in construction management, civil engineering, accounting, or a related field is required

Valid Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) is a plus

Critical thinking, analytical skills, and very strong math skills are required

Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating softwareAbout Company
