DO YOU LOVE DOGS? WE HAVE A GREAT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE AT DOGTOPIA DOWNTOWN COLUMBUS. WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE ASAP FOR A LONG-TERM JOB OPPORTUNITY! WEEKEND SHIFT: SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS 9:30 AM - 5:15 PM, & SOME WEEKDAY SHIFTS INCLUDING AM AND PM SHIFTS.

Front Desk / Customer Service Associate

Core Competences:

- Customer service focused

- Will to learn & understand the Dogtopia daycare and boarding selling points and discuss Dogtopia with potential customers on the phone or in-person

- Computer proficient, and able to learn and work in Dogtopia's point of sale system

- Comfortable with checking in or checking out dogs from the facility

- Able to effectively explain the benefits of Dogtopias services; and to sell Dogtopia and close the deal – sell daycare membership, follow-up on leads, answer customer questions or concerns

- Willing to learn - curious, and proactive

Qualifications:

o Must love dogs

o Sales and customer service experience; strong customer service skills

o Love talking to people and serving customers

o Ability to work flexible hours

o Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun, fast paced environment

o Able to work within a structure, but to think and act flexibly when needed

This person must be available to work weekend hours and holidays. This person must be comfortable leading the team, as the Front Desk associate takes on a leadership role within the team. They must be extremely personable, love talking with people, and comfortable handling any customer complaints with a positive attitude. In addition, this person will be asked to help clean the store from time to time - so the retail space looks great.
