Position Overview

We are seeking a Client Services Representative Specialist to support hospital-based revenue cycle operations in San Diego. This role focuses on early-out patient account resolution, helping patients understand and resolve balances while navigating EHR systems and insurance documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound patient calls regarding billing, balances, and payments

Resolve early-out patient accounts and outstanding balances

Navigate EHR systems to review and update account details

Review and explain EOBs and itemized statements to patients

Conduct account research and resolve billing discrepancies

Process payments and apply account adjustments

Document all activity in internal systems

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and PCI regulations

Qualifications

1–2+ years in healthcare, hospital billing, or patient financial services

Experience with patient accounts, collections, or revenue cycle

Ability to navigate EHR systems

Understanding of EOBs and medical billing processes

Strong communication and customer service skills

Detail-oriented and organized

Preferred Experience

Hospital or health system experience

Early-out AR / patient collections

Revenue cycle or billing platforms
