About the Role

We are looking for a SuiteCommerce Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on NetSuite and SuiteScript experience to support development, customization, and enhancement of SuiteCommerce (SC / SCA) websites. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of NetSuite fundamentals, frontend customization, and backend scripting, and be eager to grow in NetSuite eCommerce implementations.

Key Responsibilities

SuiteCommerce / Frontend

• Develop and customize SuiteCommerce / SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) extensions.

• Modify themes, templates, and frontend components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Implement custom PLPs, PDPs, checkout enhancements, and UI improvements.

• Work with Backbone.js (or basic understanding) used in SCA architecture.

• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

NetSuite / Backend

• Develop and maintain SuiteScript 2.x (Client, User Event, Suitelet) scripts.

• Integrate SuiteCommerce with NetSuite records such as Items, Customers, Sales Orders, Pricing, Promotions.

• Customize business logic related to pricing, shipping, taxes, and promotions.

• Create and maintain Saved Searches to support SuiteCommerce functionality.

• Debug and resolve issues related to performance, data flow, and user experience.

General

• Collaborate with functional consultants, designers, and QA teams.

• Participate in requirement analysis and provide technical solutions.

• Follow NetSuite best practices and coding standards.

• Assist in deployments, UAT support, and post-go-live fixes.

Qualifications

Mandatory

• 1–2 years of experience with NetSuite SuiteScript (2.x).

• Hands-on experience with SuiteCommerce or SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA).

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Basic understanding of NetSuite ERP concepts (Items, Customers, Orders).

• Experience with Saved Searches and NetSuite customization.

Good to Have

• Experience creating or modifying SCA extensions.

• Understanding of AMD modules and NetSuite build tools.

• Familiarity with Gulp / Node.js for SCA builds.

• Exposure to REST / web services.

• Experience working in Agile/JIRA environments.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to NetSuite best practices.

• Clear communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently on small tasks.
