Summary:

At Meta, we are at the forefront of innovation in data center design, leasing, and operations. We are seeking a Lead Data Center Strategic Partnerships professional to expand our global data center portfolio in alignment with our strategic initiatives aimed at advancing artificial intelligence. This pivotal role encompasses the management of our strategic partnership program on a global scale, emphasizing rapid infrastructure growth through collaboration with essential stakeholders, including financial institutions, developers, colocation providers, and long-term asset owners.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies for structuring, negotiating, and executing complex investment partnerships centered around data center development.

Drive the growth of the strategic partnerships program by identifying and commercially structuring opportunities with development partners to enable data center capacity expansion.

Work closely with leaders from design, engineering, construction, network, and legal teams to craft a strategic plan to meet the company's capacity objectives.

Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and sensitivity analysis of potential investments and partnerships to ensure they align with Meta's financial and business goals.

Engage with the global investment community to address Meta's infrastructure requirements.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary (25%+).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Over 10 years of experience in private equity, investments, or real estate development with a focus on data center infrastructure.

Demonstrated expertise in financial structuring, investment, and analysis, particularly with infrastructure assets.

Strategic thinker with a track record of making decisions in ambiguous environments and influencing executive stakeholders.

Strong analytical problem-solving skills, experience thriving in fast-paced environments, and proven success leading projects and developing complex stakeholder solutions.

Exceptional collaboration skills and effective cross-functional communication abilities.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Proven organizational leadership experience, including scaling teams during growth phases.

Knowledgeable about industry trends, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, MBA, or J.D.

More than 10 years of commercial real estate investment and development experience.

Experience in private equity and investment banking.

International infrastructure development experience.

Background in the data center industry.

Proven success in delivering large capital projects using complex commercial structures.

Compensation:

$202,000/year to $273,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
