Join Neudesic as a Cloud Infrastructure Principal Consultant, part of our dynamic Cloud Infrastructure Services team. In this pivotal role, you will report to our National Director of Cloud Infrastructure and be regarded as a thought leader by clients. Your successful track record of crafting innovative, meticulously designed architecture and deployment solutions will position you to tackle complex business challenges.
As a Principal Consultant, you will engage directly with clients, assisting regional account teams through presentations, proposals, and the delivery of exemplary solutions. Your expertise in large-scale cloud infrastructure solutions—especially on Azure—will enable you to collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Application Owners, and Security teams, ensuring we deliver optimal solutions for extensive infrastructure cloud projects.
Responsibilities:
Design and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructures, emphasizing Azure (experience with AWS and GCP is a bonus) utilizing industry-leading practices.
Implement migration strategies and methodologies to smoothly transition workloads into Azure.
Develop automation solutions that support continuous integration and deployment.
Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployment.
Apply your knowledge of Azure Database technologies to facilitate the migration process, including using Azure’s database migration technologies.
Diagnose and resolve configuration issues across development, testing, and production environments.
Create robust monitoring, logging, and auditing systems for production environments, ensuring compliance with policies such as HIPAA.
Implement secure (zero trust) infrastructure within Azure.
Manage Microsoft Partner Funding options for your region.
Collaborate with solution offering teams to contribute to the development of sales support content.
Mentor and guide a team of consultants, helping them navigate their career paths.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Key Technology Requirements:
Experience in cloud infrastructure: Virtual Machines, Azure Database and storage technologies (e.g., Storage Accounts, SQL Server, CosmosDB), Virtual Networks, Azure Site Recovery, Traffic Manager, Azure Automation, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, API Gateway, and Azure AD.
Knowledge in cloud management, including Policy, RBAC roles, Cost Management, Monitoring and Alerting, Site Recovery, and Disaster Recovery.
Familiarity with on-premise infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, Hyper-V, firewalls, and routing.
Understanding of identity and user management solutions from Azure or third-party vendors.
Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Server (VSTS), Jenkins, GitHub, and Octopus Deploy.
Experience with automation scripting, specifically using PowerShell and configuration as code tools.
Knowledge of deployment automation languages and tools such as JSON Template, Terraform, and Ansible.
Experience in monitoring tools for Azure and third-party services.
Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems, including configuration, automation, and management.
Familiarity with Azure WAF (Well Architected Framework) and CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) methodologies.
Additional Skills & Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and networking roles.
A self-starter comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to implementation.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, capable of managing diverse situations and rapidly changing priorities.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Technology Plus:
Microsoft Azure certification, specifically AZ300 and AZ301.
Hands-on experience with Terraform.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lakes.
Understanding of Microsoft Partner Funding programs.
Experience with AWS and GCP environments.
