Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create and prepare precise purchase orders for system entry, effectively addressing any discrepancies or issues that arise.
Keep open-to-buy files up to date while efficiently tracking all orders to guarantee timely deliveries.
Collect and analyze information to create thorough presentations, reports, and queries for distribution as necessary.
Oversee the sample process for assigned categories to ensure smooth execution and prompt results.
Review all pre-ticketing, signage, and marketing materials to ensure they meet high standards of quality and accuracy.
Support in planning merchandise assortments and developing engaging merchandise presentations that attract customers.
Work on attribute sheets and SKU setups, ensuring that all data is accurately maintained for optimal inventory management.
Understand financial metrics for assigned categories and assist in negotiations and vendor meetings as required.
Perform additional tasks as needed by the management team to contribute to the department's success.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred.
One to three years of retail experience is advantageous.
Strong communication, prioritization, collaboration, and organizational skills are essential.
Detail-oriented with robust analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency in using various systems and a quick aptitude for learning new tools.
A self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
