Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Data Solutions Architect to become a key member of our leadership team at Neudesic, now part of IBM. Reporting to the Regional Director of Data & AI, the ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in designing and implementing sophisticated Data & Analytics Solutions on Cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure. This role involves direct interaction with clients, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful project delivery across various industries.

Lead the process of gathering business requirements to define architectural solutions on Microsoft Azure, on-premise, or hybrid environments. Promote best practices throughout the project lifecycle from design to implementation.

Offer technical mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring adherence to industry standards in data warehousing, ELT/ETL processes, and reporting solutions.

Be the driving force behind project success; build strong relationships with clients and foster a positive engagement environment. Address challenges proactively and manage expectations effectively.

Utilize our unique Intellectual Property to enhance project efficiency and consistency in delivering exceptional results for clients.

Understand and analyze client businesses to identify technological solutions that can drive innovation and additional service opportunities.

Assist in the sales process for new and existing clients, defining project scope, requirements, and creating a comprehensive vision for deliverables, timelines, and costs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 10 years of experience in delivering Data & Analytics solutions through consulting or contracting roles.

Strong technical foundation across various technologies that enable effective Data & Analytics solutions, particularly within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Proven ability to architect Enterprise Data & Analytics Solutions on Azure, adapting to the fast-paced needs of clients.

Experience in supporting sales initiatives, articulating solutions that match customer needs, and producing project estimates and proposals.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Technology Requirements

Experience with Azure components such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, Azure Automation, and Power BI.

Proficient in Azure DevOps and Continuous Integration / Development pipelines.

Familiarity with SQL Server technologies, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Microsoft Azure Certified - Azure Data Engineer.

Experience with Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence.

Proficient with visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Spotfire.

Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
