We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Lead Front End Software Engineer to join our team and enhance our cutting-edge ERP platform. In this role, you will design and develop dynamic user interfaces using React, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly. This position is contract-to-hire, with candidates working on a W2 basis and transitioning to full-time after the contract. We provide an excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Compensation: $70.00 to $80.00/hr. W2
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product teams to develop next-generation applications.
Create and implement dynamic React components that are message-driven.
Ensure that our user interfaces are responsive and function seamlessly across devices.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues within the interface.
Lead specific design areas of the UI project from inception through implementation.
Work closely with backend teams to support event-driven architecture and WebSocket integration.
Experience Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding a team.
7+ years of experience as a UI developer with a robust foundation in JavaScript.
Expert knowledge of React; experience with React Native is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
Experience working with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.
Proficient in unit testing, debugging, and optimizing performance.
Familiar with React workflows like Redux or Flux.
Expertise in WebSocket technologies.
Exposure to testing frameworks like Playwright is advantageous.
Experience integrating mock services for APIs and databases.
Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka is preferred.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate potential for a leadership role in UI development.
Experience with mapping libraries such as Mapbox GL.
Strong adherence to coding and testing practices, including unit tests and mock services.
