Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer within our Software & Information Platforms team, you will take charge of designing, developing, and enhancing our vital software platforms. You will collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions and set industry best practices for our applications.

Lead the design and implementation of robust software and information platforms that drive efficiency.

Monitor platform performance through key metrics, identifying areas for proactive improvement.

Break down complex projects into manageable, actionable tasks with well-defined objectives.

Troubleshoot and resolve intricate platform and cloud issues, conducting thorough root cause analyses to enhance reliability and performance.

Establish standards and governance protocols for cloud architectures and integrations.

Work closely with Application Development and Infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into effective platform designs.

Mentor and guide less experienced engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

Qualifications

8-12 years of relevant software engineering experience.

A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.

5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), focusing on products like Compute Engine, IAM, and APIs.

Expertise in architecting Business Intelligence platforms using GCP or AWS is essential.

Proficiency in connecting analytical applications to GCP data stores such as BigQuery.

Familiarity with programming languages including Python and Java, as well as frameworks like Spring Boot and REST API development is highly desirable.

Prior experience with tools like GoAnywhere and Atscale is a plus.

Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Harness, Concourse, or Jenkins is an advantage.

Possession of Google Cloud Platform certification is a valuable asset.

Anticipated Salary Range: $123,400 - $176,300
