Job Overview

Tanaq Technical Services (TTS), a proud member of St. George Tanaq (SGT) Corporation, is an esteemed 8(a) Alaskan Native Small Business. We specialize in delivering integrated technology solutions that enhance operational effectiveness within the Federal Government.

We are on the lookout for an experienced Cloud-Based Full Stack Developer to significantly contribute to the housing sector through our collaboration with the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of the Chief Information Officer (HUD OCIO). In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying innovative cloud applications that improve customer experiences and address critical missions.

This position is fully remote. Please note, candidates must be able to pass a federal background check and obtain a NACI clearance. Applicants must reside in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain robust cloud applications across the full stack, including frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.

Develop prototypes and proofs of concept, moving successful projects into production-ready environments.

Participate actively in Agile methodologies and engage in essential project ceremonies.

Identify potential risks and contribute to status reporting and lessons learned documentation.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for projects.

Implement secure coding practices, automated testing, and CI/CD principles to meet industry standards.

Collaborate effectively with various teams to facilitate technical reviews and deliver impactful solutions.

Necessary Skills and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of full-stack development experience on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Proficiency in Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

Expert frontend development skills with React.js and familiarity with TypeScript.

Experience in backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET, complemented by database management expertise.

Experience with cloud-native services and application deployment in cloud environments.

Proficient in building and integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs and managing third-party services.

Strong understanding of security and scalability best practices for applications.

Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST.

Experience with AI/ML APIs and building applications leveraging LLMs, embeddings, and related technologies.

Ability to integrate AI into workflows while adhering to AI governance and data management standards.

Experience in federal environments is preferred, especially with HUD OCIO.

Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Technical Skills

Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.

Experience with frontend frameworks: React (preferred), Angular, or Vue.

Backend technologies: Node.js, Spring Boot, .NET Core, or Django/FastAPI.

Database management skills with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

Knowledge of cloud platforms, including serverless architectures and container management.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

Awareness of security practices, including authentication and data protection principles.
