What You Will Be Doing
EDI Solution Implementation:
Take charge of the full implementation lifecycle of EDI solutions for clients, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design effective EDI workflows, and implement scalable integration solutions.
Technical Expertise:
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of EDI standards (like ANSI X12 and EDIFACT) and protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTPS).
Keep abreast of evolving EDI technologies and trends, applying insights to enhance current systems and processes.
Client Collaboration:
Act as the primary technical liaison for clients during implementation, addressing their needs and concerns effectively.
Offer expert advice on EDI best practices, customization options, and integration strategies to ensure client satisfaction.
Problem Resolution:
Analyze and resolve complex EDI-related issues to ensure minimal disruption to the client's business operations.
Work with support teams to tackle escalated technical problems and implement proactive measures.
Documentation and Training:
Create thorough documentation to support implementations, including specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
Facilitate training sessions for clients and internal teams to improve understanding of EDI processes and troubleshooting techniques.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct extensive testing of EDI implementations to ensure data integrity, system compatibility, and compliance with standards.
Establish quality assurance protocols to guarantee seamless data transmission and reception.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI implementation and integration.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, Oracle) and data transformation techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications in EDI technologies (e.g., Certified EDI Professional) are a plus.
