About the Role

We are hiring a Data Engineer (AWS / Time-Series) to support an Australian-based client operating at the intersection of energy markets, fintech, and advanced analytics.

This is a full-time, permanent work-from-home position focused on building automated data pipelines, managing high-frequency time-series data, and ensuring reliable data availability for downstream analytics and pricing models.

What You’ll Be Doing

Build and maintain Python-based ETL and data ingestion pipelines

Ingest, process, and store high-volume, time-series datasets

Design and manage AWS serverless infrastructure (S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena)

Develop and optimize PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB databases for high-frequency read/write

Automate data cleaning, normalization, and validation processes

Support analytics, simulation, and pricing models with reliable data pipelines

What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or Data Pipeline Engineer

Strong experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena)

Proficiency in Python for ETL, automation, and data processing

Advanced SQL skills using PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, or similar databases

Experience working with time-series data, market data, or high-frequency datasets

Ability to work independently in a permanent work-from-home setup
