Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The CNC Operator will be responsible for the following:
Operating CNC lathes and mills to produce Precision parts according to specifications.
Compression Knowledge. • Conducting dimensional inspections and documenting results. • Monitoring machine functionality and ensuring proper operation. • Maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety protocols. • Reading and interpreting blueprints. • Performing setups and adjustments to ensure part alignment. • Manual adjustments through grinding or drilling. • Inspecting work for conformity to specifications using precision measuring instruments. • Understand G-code • Other duties as assigned.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate more than one type of CNC Machine. Use manual functions to improve run times and reduce non-value time.
Monitor controls and make necessary adjustments to achieve product specs and change cutting tools.
Read dimensions and tooling instructions from work orders and blueprints.
Verify conformance of machined parts to product specs.
Load and unload material and align material to specs.
Plan and perform machine operations which require complicated set ups, troubleshooting with a high degree of accuracy.
Edit program as needed to achieve conformant machined components.
Maintain traceability of machined components.
Handle special projects as assigned.
Follow company regulations for a safe and healthy workspace.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move heavy objects. The employee may be required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
CNC machine operator will be capable of working well as a part of a team. With demonstrable understanding of CNC machinery, cutter lifetimes, and material parameters, capable of operating lathes and or mills as well as loading and unloading from work holding. Must be able to stand 8 hours a day and lift 50 lbs un-assisted as well as adhering to strict process documentation and quality documentation.
