Warehouse Associate WKD

Nesco has partnered with a great logistics company in Grove City looking for candidates for a right-to-hire role in their warehouse!

Shift:

Saturdays and Sundays 7am -3:30p Monday 8am-4:30p

Pay: $16hr

Position Summary: Work within the Fulfilment Center (warehouse), picking and packing online orders for

our customers. We pick and pack all sorts of products - from board games and cosmetics to clothes and

contact lenses.

Pick mainly light items. Use a handheld scanner and laptop, pack orders, and label them for shipping to

our clients' happy customers.

Essential Responsibilities/Outputs: You may elect to put the estimated % of time spent next to each functional

area.

Receive orders for outgoing shipments

Find the products on our warehouse shelves

Pack the products and apply a label

Scan the label and put the package on an outgoing truck

Log orders to keep the inventory up-to-date picking, inspecting and packing products

Continually stocking/unstocking shelves

Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor

Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.

Helping to complete shipments, process and load orders

Preventing on-the-job injuries by maintaining safety best practices across all areas of the

operation

Maintain communication with managers and report accidents or incidents immediately

Participating in preventive maintenance activities

Assisting with training of newly employed workers.

Other duties as reasonably requested.

Essential Skills/Experience: The successful candidate for this position will have at minimum, the following skills,

experience and characteristics.

Fast and efficient with time management, you love working to targets!

A great team player that is self-motivated

Ability to understand and communicate in English

Comfortable working with a laptop and scanner

Warehouse or assembly line experience a plus

A keen eye for detail

Strong organization skills

Ability to lift and carry loads of .5 lbs to 50 lbs

Ability to bend, reach, twist, push and pull

Stamina to remain standing for long periods of time

Attention to detail

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Position works within a well-maintained, comfortable warehouse environment. *include temperature changes

in the warehouse

Position may be regularly required to lift. Many products are lightweight, however this position requires the

ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Position will have to bend and reach to find products on warehouse shelves.

Position requires the ability to stand and walk for the entirety of each work shift
