Slitting Machine Operator - 1st and 2nd shift

Shifts available strong span p>\n \n * 1st Shift (Cary Location) <\/strong>6:00 am to 2:30 pm, M-F<\/span li>\n * 2nd Shift (Cary Location)<\/strong> 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, M-F<\/span li>\n<\/ul>\n Required Skills span strong span p>\n \n * High School Diploma or GED preferred<\/span li>\n * 1+ yrs of machine operator experience a PLUS but not required<\/span li>\n * 2+ yrs doing any complex Mechanical (i.e.

taking cars, machines apart, replacing engines or transmissions, etc). is required<\/span li>\n * Ability to be on your feet and stand\/walk for entire shift span li>\n * Strong basic math skills with the ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply to figure footage and lineal footage<\/span li>\n * Make and interpret measurements with a standard ruler to 1\/16 of an inch (must pass a pre-employment ruler test)<\/span li>\n * Physically fit with no restrictions and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs; push, pull, maneuver very large rolls of materials weighing several hundred pounds with the use of equipment on a daily basis.

Must be able to squat, bend, crouch, and kneel.

Must be able to tolerate chemicals and occasional strong odors.

<\/span li>\n * Previous ISO experience in a manufacturing or light industrial environment preferred<\/span li>\n * Previous lamination, packaging or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but NOT required, WE WILL TRAIN<\/span li>\n<\/ul>\n The Slitting Machine Operator slits material to support press, lamination, and pouch departments, and Customer rollstock business span p>\n Technipaq is family owned and operated serving the medical device and pharmaceutical packaging industry since 1984.
