Job Title: Press Operator

Location: Shelton, CT

Schedule: Monday Thursday: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM

Fridays: Overtime as needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Press Operator to manage press equipment in our Shelton, Connecticut manufacturing facility. This role demands strong attention to quality, safety, and continuous productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press machines following production instructions

Load materials and ensure precise alignment

Monitor operations; make adjustments to maintain quality

Inspect output for defects; ensure compliance with specs

Perform routine machine maintenance and report any issues

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Adhere to all company safety policies and best practices

Requirements:

Prior experience operating press machines or similar manufacturing equipment preferred

Ability to read and interpret work orders and safety instructions

Solid hand eye coordination; strong attention to detail

Basic math and precise measuring skills

Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to [e.g., 50 lbs]

Willing to work mandatory overtime on Fridays when required
