The Opportunity You will serve as a versatile technical lead, bridging the gap between complex electrical controls and high-precision mechanical systems. How You Will Make an Impact
Troubleshoot integrated 3-phase electrical systems and complex mechanical devices using advanced testing instruments and technical schematics.
Interpret PLC ladder logic and programs to diagnose control system issues and ensure seamless automation performance.
Execute precision mechanical rebuilds on gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatic systems to minimize facility downtime.
Implement predictive maintenance programs, utilizing thermography and vibration analysis to optimize equipment longevity.
Mentor junior technicians by demonstrating advanced repair techniques and fostering a collaborative, safety-first work environment.
Document all root cause analyses and maintenance activities within the CMMS to drive data-based continuous improvement.
Fabricate specialized repair parts and install industrial conduit to support lean manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 8 years of industrial maintenance experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
Proven proficiency in troubleshooting Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs and VFDs.
Extensive experience performing advanced mechanical rebuilds of rotating equipment and conveyor systems.
Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environments.
Successful completion of the Ramsey Multi-Skill Maintenance Diagnostic Test (Raw score 65-74).
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Associate's degree (A.S. or A.A.S.) in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or Industrial Technology.
Active CMRT or CMRP certifications.
Demonstrated skill in welding, machine shop equipment (lathes, mills), and technical documentation updates.
Experience in a lead or specialist role involving multi-disciplinary maintenance tasks.
