Certified Teacher-Summer School K-4

Position Overview: Join our dynamic Summer School Program as a Certified Teacher, where you'll inspire and nurture young minds in grades K-4. We are seeking passionate educators to create an engaging and enriching learning experience for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Teach reading, math & science classes for 19.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster lifelong learners

• Encourage students to explore and build confidence in their abilities.

• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

• Assess and document student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.

Qualifications:

• Connecticut State Teaching Certification in Elementary Education (K-6)

• Experience teaching young children, including the HMH, iReady, & Smithsonian curriculum, preferably in a K-4 setting.

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Enthusiasm for working with children.

• Grades: Kindergarten through 4th grade

Compensation-based on certification

Certified teacher- $35.00
