Software Development Manager

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Development Manager in Orange Park, FL.

Responsibilities: * Work in an agile development environment leading multiple cross-functional teams of software engineers in new product development and maintenance activities, including serving as the Scrum Master on one or more Scrum teams * Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with team members to remove impediments * Work with product management and project management to drive the Agile process, including release and sprint cycles, to ensure high quality releases delivered on schedule * Assist Director with iterative improvements of software deployment processes to improve frequency and quality of releases * Work with product management and engineering leadership to determine priorities and create technical solutions * Manage performance of team members through goal setting and measurement, coaching, recognition, and feedback through regular check-ins and formal performance reviews * Lead the continuous improvement of software development and test processes through collaboration with peers and architects, including architectural reviews, security and compliance reviews, code reviews, and the delivery pipeline* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field * 10 years of experience as a software developer after receiving degree * Technical leadership responsibilities as a team lead or at a comparable level * Visa sponsorship is not available for this position * Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in our current stack: C#, Angular 2+, SQL Server
