Position: Forklift Operator

Rate of Pay: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour based on Experience (time and a half for overtime after 40 hours)

NO TWIC card required. NO per diem available. Long-term work.

Hutco inc. is looking for an experienced and safety-driven Forklift Operator specializing in shipyard operations to support our team. Bringing precision handling, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to efficiency in fast-paced maritime environments.

• Key responsibilities:

Safe operation of industrial forklifts in shipyards and dock areas

Loading and unloading heavy materials, ship components, and cargo

Transporting steel, equipment, and supplies across yard facilities

Conducting routine inspections and preventive equipment checks

Strict adherence to OSHA and maritime safety standards

Effective coordination with riggers, crane operators, and dock crews
