Soldering Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a part-time (possibility for full time if the right fit) Soldering Technician for a military and defense facility located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa. The pay will be between $28-$35 an hour and based on experience. The role offers flexibility with the schedule, the team works from 9 am to 5 pm so can work around your current schedule. Ideally working 2-3 days a week, with the possibility of extending to 4-5 days if needed.

Responsibilities

Solder surface mount components with precision and accuracy.

Crimp connectors and ethernet cables effectively.

Rackmount trays and servers to racks while maintaining excellent cable organization.

Read and interpret basic circuit board documents and manuals to determine connector attachment points.

Collaborate with software engineers to ensure connectivity for automated testing devices.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in soldering surface mount components.

Ability to crimp connectors and ethernet cables.

Experience in rackmounting trays and servers.

Capability to read circuit board documents and manuals.

Strong communication skills for collaboration with software engineers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with production, assembly, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and mechanical hand tools.

Electrical and electronic assembly and repair.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, CA.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
